Why?

Because I can.

No, seriously. I used to do this stuff for a living and it’s a way to keep a pinky in. It’s also a way to provide updates on some of the things I’m playing around with without having to resort to mailbombing campaigns (fun yes, but that’s just now so passé). The Site

There’s no particular reason to hide that I’m using the WordPress platform since that’s pretty obvious by reading the page source; there is however no particularly good reason that I can think of to tell you what server implementation it’s running on.

Apart from the physical task of actually trying to think of something to write, content is created using components of Adobe’s Creative Suite as needed for specific tasks. I currently shoot all of my photos and video with Panasonic hardware though what I’d really like is to shoot with is a Leica M9 paired to a Noctilux-M 50 mm f/0.95 ASPH. And while I’m at it, I’d also like… a pony!

I figure that the M9 and Noctilux pairing currently have about the same possibility of success as getting the Son of Newton. Still, that’s not to say that it wouldn’t be nice either way…
