Seven’s My Kitchen Rules kicked off Season 2 tonight, and leading off in Episode 1: two butchers from Queensland, pudgy fingers, pork belly, and… poached pears (where have I seen something like this before?).
The Australian cooking competition has an expanded roster for the second season, adding Tasmania for a total of 6 states as opposed to the original 5. All I can say is “ouch”, because consistent service for 12 is definitely not easy.
It’s great to have access to Seven’s original as it adds variety to while away the time, but I do admit that I’m also being thoroughly entertained mocking the competitors in its chez nous offshoot. Must be the provincial familiarity.
